Betfair Poker Giving Away Sponsorship Deals

Betfair Poker is giving 100 players the chance to get paid to play poker via their “Team Betfair Wants You” promotion.

Running from now until Friday, December 30th, the promo offers players $20,000 in total value.  What makes the promotion somewhat unique is the way Betfair plans to deliver that value (more below).

Here's the basics of the promotion: Betfair is running a freeroll that awards prizes to the top 100 finishers.  The freeroll takes place on December 30th at 21:00 CET.  To qualify for the freeroll, you need to earn a minimum of 99 player points between now and December 24th.   

Here's the twist.  Everyone who finishes in the top 100 in that freeroll gets a Betfair sponsorship –  of sorts.  What you'll be getting specifically is $5 put into your account, every day, for a time period determined by your finish in the freeroll (chart below).  The top prize is 365 days of $5 free a day, for a total of $1,825.

How do you earn player points?  By paying rake.  You get roughly 3.6 player points be dollar paid in rake, so you'll need to pay about $28 in rake to qualify for the promotion. 

You do need to opt-in to the promotion.  You are not automatically entered.
